1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your email address and display name. Manuscript content and project data are stored to provide our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate Forge Writer. We do not train AI models on your content. Your books remain your intellectual property.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Manuscripts are stored on our secure infrastructure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase (auth/database), Vercel (hosting), OpenRouter/DeepSeek (AI inference), and DigitalOcean (infrastructure). Each has its own privacy policy.

5. AI Processing

Manuscript text sent to AI providers is not stored beyond what's needed for review history. Providers are contractually prohibited from using your content for training.

6. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active. Deletion removes data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data. Contact andre@fortinmedia.net for requests.
